THE WEATHER IS BEAUTIFUL AND THERE IS LOTS TO DO.

Thursday, February 4th, 2016

Tomorrow is the first Friday of the month, therefore FIRST FRIDAY ART WALK when galleries, shops and restaurants are open and welcoming.

Also this weekend marks the release of Pliny the Younger, the sought after special beer from the Russian River Brewing Company.  It also marks the sell out of that cherished brew.

Then there is the Super Bowl and if you don’t have tickets but still want to watch it there are several cafes and bars showing it and you could book a room at Creekside and watch it here.  Mention that you read about this here and we will let you check out after the game ends.

EARLY APRIL AND SO MUCH TO DO

Thursday, April 2nd, 2015

1st fri
It’s Spring in Guerneville! More street artists than ever are out and about, and there are new art venues around every corner.

The Russian River Art Gallery (RRAG) will open its doors for the first time since its month-long remodel project – and it should be something special! The artists of the co-op promise an exciting show and reception for April 3, starting at 4:00 pm.

On the musical side of things,
Curtis James, the guitarist who graced Mark Lifvendahl’s corner last year, will return with another show that should stop people in their tracks.

FYI: Blue Door will not be open for its usual Art Walk craft activities, because it is hosting Pegasus Theater’s newest play, “A Walk in the Woods”, which opens at 8:00 pm. What a great follow-up to Art Walking! The space is small, so you might want to contact the Pegasus Theater directly for further information & tickets:

The show runs weekends in April.

Then what’s to do on Saturday?

How about Occidental’s fabulous Parade of Fools.  It’s their April Fools Day celebration and not to be missed.
