We seldom have availability but do have one room left for the Blues and Jazz Fest this weekend.

It’s a great event and we are just across the river.

SUMMER’S HERE, THE DAMS IN AND THERE’S LOTS TO DO!!

Wednesday, June 20th, 2012

summer

There’s plenty of water behind that dam for swimming, canoeing or kayaking.  Johnson’s Beach is open and jumping.  Tomorrow there is a farmer’s market next to the plaza in town from 3:00 to 7:00 pm and Maria Muldaur singing from 6:00 to 8:00 pm.  Remember “Midnight at the Oasis”?

The concert will kick off a summer of fun at the river and is part of a 5 event series called Rockin’ the River.

The first Friday of every month through the summer one can enjoy a leisurely stroll through town some very nice local art work and, of course, food and wine at the First Friday Art Walk.

If you want to come up and enjoy town, consider booking a room online:

Monday, May 21st, 2012

First it’s Memorial Day this next week and that is always fun in Guerneville.  We have some availability, even a couple of Saturday/Sunday nights.

If you can’t make it up for that then there is the open studio events at:

Art at the Source

If you come the first weekend, you should be able to enjoy Guerneville’s First Friday Art Walk

How perfectly does that go together.

We have several good music venues too.  Jerry Knight’s River Theatre and Main Street Pizza to name a few host really good entertainment as does the Rio Nido Road House.

Hope to see you at the River.
