What’s Happening in March

Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011

Like Music or Theater?

Sebastopol’s annual Bluegrass festival is on March 13th.  Pegasus Theater is performing “Charlie’s Aunt” and tickets are still available.

Like wine?

Want to learn more about wine futures?

The Russian River Wineroad Barrel Tasting event is going on March 4-6 and March 11-13.

Like good food?

Follow Mateo Granados. He and his wonderful staff do great pop-up dinners at wineries, bakeries etc.  They are on Thursday and Friday evenings.  Want to reserve space call 707-837-0774, or if you are a guest of ours, let us know and we will make the reservations.

Just want to relax?

Come see all of the spring flowers, camelias, daffodils, probably wild iris at the coast and our Japanese tulip trees are in bloom.  By late March, wild Iris should be in bloom on the way to the coast and Spud Point Crab Company will probably have fresh crab sandwiches and great clam chowder.

Want to get some exercise?

Hike or bike between spring rain.

Want to make a difference?

Celebrate Earth Day by volunteering at the Riverkeeper Park.

End of Summer events

Wednesday, August 18th, 2010

As the end of summer approaches there is still plenty to do:

  • Labor Day Weekend September 3rd-6th.  Stay 5 nights, miss all of the traffic and the 5th night is free.
  • The Russian River Blues and Jazz Festival takes place on the 11th and 12th of September.  Check out the line up and remember that we are offering the 5th night free.

There are still great wineries, spectacular farmer’s markets and a secret supper club.
