It may be early but there is plenty to do and it is never too early to book a stay.

Monday, May 21st, 2012First it’s Memorial Day this next week and that is always fun in Guerneville. We have some availability, even a couple of Saturday/Sunday nights.

How perfectly does that go together.
We have several good music venues too. Jerry Knight’s River Theatre and Main Street Pizza to name a few host really good entertainment as does the Rio Nido Road House.

We were lucky enough to hear about Porter-Bass Winery from some guests and then made an appointment for a tasting and were delighted to meet the winemaker, Luke Bass, his wife and son. The operation is a multi-generational family run, biodynamic and beautiful.

April is not just for doing taxes. The wild iris bloom on the coastal hills. There is a great wine event the end of April when the winegrowers of Dry Creek sponsor the Passport to Dry Creekk event.
Coming up soon on-April 2nd-is the Occidental Fool’s Parade-a little spring silliness.
Sebastopol’s Apple Blossom Festivalis an event for the whole family, with food and wine pairing, a parade, art and craft expos and garden displays.

Russian River Jazz and Blues Festival

We don’t have any vacancies but the Highlands Resort does as of this time. They are close to the festival and really charming.
